Pastor Adeboye to Minister at 2-Day 'Light-Up Ibadan' Crusade

The General Overseer of The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Enoch Adeboye, is set to minister at a powerful two-day crusade in Ibadan, themed “Light-Up Ibadan.” The event will take place from March 14th to 15th, 2025, at the Obafemi Awolowo Stadium (Liberty Stadium), Oke-Ado, Ibadan, Oyo State. Activities will commence at 3:00 p.m. on Friday and 12:00 noon on Saturday.

Organized by the RCCG Oyo Provinces in collaboration with an interdenominational evangelistic coalition in Oyo State, the crusade aims to draw countless souls into the kingdom of God and illuminate a world increasingly engulfed by darkness.

Ministering alongside Pastor Adeboye will be other renowned men of God, including Bishop Francis Wale Oke, Bishop Taiwo Adelakun, Pastor Moses Aransiola, and Pastor Femi Emmanuel, among others.

During a press conference in Ibadan, Pastor Ezekiel Afolayan, the Assistant Continental Overseer of RCCG and Regional Pastor of Region 21, who represented the Chairman of the Local Organising Committee, Pastor Jide Ojurongbe, expressed confidence that the crusade would have a significant impact on the spiritual landscape of Ibadan and beyond.

He explained that the theme, “Light-Up Ibadan,” was inspired by the belief that darkness prevails where there is no light, and the world today is deeply shrouded in darkness.

“This programme has been held in other parts of the country, but what makes this one unique is that it marks the first time Daddy G.O. will be ministering at Obafemi Awolowo Stadium,” Pastor Afolayan stated.

“As we all know, the nation is grappling with various complex challenges, and the only true solution is prayer. Daddy G.O. will also be praying over critical issues confronting the country, including kidnapping, banditry, and other societal vices. With the participation of anointed ministers from various denominations, Ibadan and the entire nation will experience a profound transformation.”

To ensure a seamless and safe programme, RCCG is working closely with relevant agencies.

“We are collaborating with security agencies, medical personnel, and the management of higher institutions within and beyond Ibadan to guarantee a smooth and secure crusade,” Pastor Afolayan assured.

He emphasized that people should have no fear about attending the event, as all necessary safety measures have been put in place. Additionally, over 40 buses will be stationed at designated locations to transport participants to the venue.

The “Light-Up Ibadan” crusade promises to be a remarkable experience of spiritual revival and divine intervention, leaving lasting impacts on individuals and the nation as a whole.
