Born on 22nd September, 1978, Minister Catherine Enitan Adaba is a Nigerian Gospel music minister, song writer and minstrel. She is popularly known as the featured vocalist on Pastor Nathaniel Bassey's widely loved worship song "Imela" (Thank You) - a collaboration that has reached far beyond Nigeria's borders
Minister Enitan Adaba is best known for her feature on **"Imela" (meaning "Thank You" in Igbo)**, a worship song by Nathaniel Bassey, released as part of his 2014 project *The Son of God (& Imela)*. Drawing thematically from Psalm 103:1–2 — its call to bless the Lord and not forget His benefits — the song became one of Nigerian gospel music's enduring worship classics, continuing to circulate widely across gospel music blogs, streaming platforms, and church services more than a decade after its release. It has also been noted charting on the UK Gospel Chart.
Her ministration on the track has been widely praised for the depth and sincerity she brought to the performance, helping cement "Imela" as a staple of Nigerian corporate worship.
Minister Enitan Adaba is happily married to her heartthrob and they are blessed with children. Together, they are raising the banner of our Lord Jesus Christ.
