Our Unity as the Church will affect every Sphere of Influence - Peace Bolaji-Blessing

1. Can we meet you?

Guest: My name is Peace Bolaji-Blessing. I'm a child of God full of grace and glory, a ministry gift, writer/author, love coach, and a business enthusiast. I'm a graduate of law from the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife,Osun State and I preside over House of Hope Foundation International.

2. What was your journey into Christ like? Kindly share your salvation story.

Guest: Fellowship with God, for me, started at a very tender age. I believe I was introduced to Christ at barely the age of two and I could speak in tongues right from that age thereabout. However, it was in August, 2013 that I made the full and bold decision to belong to God forever at an evangelism seminar.

3. How's your growth process in God? How do spiritual activities affect your walk with God?

Guest: Well, I could really track my growth in Christ beginning from 2015, when I personally sought the face of God in prayers knowing fully well that there was more to my life than what I was currently experiencing and with diligence and consistency by the help of God, I shifted from just the ordinary church girl to someone who continually hosts God's presence. I became more spiritually aware. Spiritual activities such as continuous prayers, study of the scriptures, fasting, attending conferences etc have really played a key role in enhancing my spiritual growth. It's effect cannot be downplayed especially when you do it intentionally. When we truly seek God with all our hearts, we will always find him.

4. What's your view on Fasting and Prayer? Kindly share your experience.

Guest: Fasting has been one of the most debated subjects in the body of Christ. However, anyone who is well established in doctrine will know that there's really nothing spooky about fasting. It's simply a time of separating yourself apart from your normal routine e.g food, sleep, games etc for a short period of time to focus on God, and this produces faith in you on another level, and fresh encounters with God. Now, if you combine your fast with moments of prayer which you should do, that's a supernatural eruption about to take place. An explosion in your spirit and total life shift. If it's done in faith.

5. What does ministry mean for you? Is every believer called into ministry?

Guest: Ministry is from the Greek root word diakonia and it simply means service to people in God's name. So, if you are a believer and you are rendering a form of service to the people of God in any capacity and in any sphere of influence, you are in ministry, and so, yes, every believer is called into ministry. We all received a general ministry from Jesus, to do the work of an evangelist (Matthew 28:18-20), but also, we all have special ministries we have received from God, so we are meant to discover it, and, serve in the fullness of it.

6. As a believer, what's your typical day like?

Guest: Usually, I start the day joining online prayers between 5:30am-7:00am. After attending to family duties, I most times try to catch up with ministry/business work, trying to give instructions or to set the mood for the activities that must be accomplished for the day. Then, I intentionally create time to study, pray, and meditate because, most of my inspirations  comes from rubbing minds with the intelligence of God daily. I listen to sermons too, soak in worship, and at spare times, you could catch me surfing the internet ( I like to be up to date with happenings around the world) or having a gist with friends and family.

7. Tell us about your vlog. How did God lead you to start vlogging?

Guest: Well, I officially started vlogging in 2021, but the passion had been there since 2018 when a friend introduced me to the world of YouTube because I was really a fan of Facebook. I'm an audio-visual person, and so I enjoyed watching and learning from YouTube. I was excited about it and immediately knew it was a platform if impact, but I couldn't tell what kind of communication God wanted me to pass across via that platform yet until 2020/2021 when God spoke to me to use it as a channel to bring insightful contents to people on purpose, faith, hope, and love. So, that's what I do. If you are looking for wholesome contents, it's a channel to go to and I look forward to doing more with it now than before. You can visit my channel here.

8. At different times, you share content relating to relationships and marriage. In what ways do you think the church can correct wrong narratives about marriage in our society?

Guest: The church is the custodian of light and divine counsel, so, if people are looking for not just information, but truth on any subject, the church should be the call center. One of such subjects is marriage, the truth of which has been attacked by different philosophies and opinions, hence, the need for the church to rise up, and advance God's truth about it because marriage is God's original idea. First, by not being conservative about it and other topics that surrounds it. Second, by having trained and certified specialist who can juxtapose biblical truths, scientific facts, statistics, and positive opinions together and arrive at a godly counsel. Also, the church must encourage the need for intensive counselling, and finally, we must model a godly marriage for the world to emulate.

9. Beyond the likes, comments and subscribers as a Christian Content creator, what defines Impact for you?

Guest: What defines impact for me is the transformation I see in people's lives and the testimonies they share about how they picked the truth I share, use it, and get results.

10. What advice do you have for the body of Christ?

Guest: Love! It's simply that we should love one another. "By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another." (John 13:35). Our choice to love will propel unity and agreement and that's where God commands His blessings. We may belong to different tribes but we have only one father, God. Our unity will affect every sphere of influence we find ourselves be it in politics, governance, leadership, commerce, entertainment etc. Let us love one another. One Lord, One Faith, One Baptism. Shalom!
