A new year has indeed begun for every one of us and we are grateful to God for his unending faithfulness. One thing we may need to bear in mind is this, although we desire that many beautiful things happen, we may face one or two challenges.
This is not to say that God is not faithful, it is in fact proof of his faithfulness because he will surely show up to deliver. Praise God! Let's see the passage of scripture below:
"Say to them that are of a fearful heart, Be strong, fear not: behold, your God will come with vengeance, even God with a recompence; he will come and save you". (Isaiah 35:4).
The Lord seeks to speak to you and me, not true a prophet as he did then, but now through his word that was written before now for our learning that we may be encouraged.
Although challenges may come, and though we are tried on every side, we are not to fear. The Lord says to say to those who are of a fearful heart to be strong. Some people may be afraid already. God says through his word to be strong and fear not.
It doesn't matter what the challenge may be or if there is any already, he (God) who has said not to fear and be strong will come with vengeance; he will come and save you. In him alone you should trust. Only be strong and fear not. The Lord bless his word in your heart. Amen.
Thought for the day: Be strong and fear not, for God, no matter the challenge will come to save you. In him alone, trust!
