Born in 1969, Pastor Nkechi Ene was the Presiding and Senior Pastor of The Carpenter's Church, headquartered in Portharcourt, Nigeria.
Pastor Nkechi Ene, a full time minister of the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ, is the host of Freshdew, a 30 minute TV programme produced in-house by Tor and which has aired for over twenty five years.
She was born in Accra, Ghana and spent most of her early years in Lagos, Western Nigeria. She is a graduate of University of Nigeria, Nsukka with a First Class Honours Degree in Electronics Engineering. Pastor Kech [as she is fondly called] is anointed to dynamically teach the Word of God with grace expressed in clarity and charisma.
This grace and her warm personality have endeared her to many and made Freshdew TV a household name in millions of homes over the past twenty one years.
She has ministered on global platforms such as WAFBEC
In 2003, we formally began our "Circle Of Partners" with just a few partners and the Circle has been getting bigger! Pastor Nkechi Ene is happily married to her heartthrob, Pastor Emeka Ene, an Engineering Executive and they are blessed with four daughters, Zoe, Chloe and also with an adopted daughter, Tracy, and Osi
Pastor Nkechi Ene died on the 29th of October, 2025 in Port-Harcourt Nigeria. She went to be with the Lord after a brief health crisis.
