Family Background and Early Life
Minister Blessing Lopez comes from a deeply rooted Christian family. Her father is a zonal pastor in the Redeemed Christian Church of God, and she is the first of seven children - one sister and five brothers. Growing up in a household where faith was not merely practised but lived, she was raised according to godly standards and Biblical doctrines, with an emphasis on living in God, hoping for the best, working hard, and glorifying Him in all things.
She traces much of her character to that upbringing. She was raised to be very focused, and she comes from a family that places a huge premium on maintaining a good name and dignity - a value system that has helped her navigate the many facets of her career.

Minister Blessing Lopez had her primary and secondary school education in Ondo State, Nigeria. She thereafter proceeded to complete her National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) scheme in 2020. Music has been part of Blessing’s life since childhood. As the daughter of a pastor, she found herself moving through the children’s choir, teenagers’ choir, youth choir, and eventually the main church choir. Her mother was also in the choir, and she often accompanied her to rehearsals - which was how she first began to be recognised for her voice.
She only recently began pursuing music full-time, having previously built her reputation primarily through the makeup and beauty industry. She leveraged her existing platform and audience to introduce her music, and describes the transition as having been made easier by the foundation God had already given her.
The defining moment came with the release of Praise Fest 1.0. She released the song simply out of love for what she was doing - recorded it, shared it, and was caught off guard when it went viral. The first edition of the song garnered close to 20 million streams, which she describes as the turning point that made her take her music ministry seriously.
In March 2026, she released her latest single, Follow Me, continuing to build her catalogue of gospel sound.
Minister Blessing Lopez has American gospel artiste, Tye Tribbett, as a major musical influence in her life, admiring his energy and the intentionality he puts into his performances. In Nigeria, she also deeply admires saxophonist, Abolaji Banjoko (Beejay Sax), who she says has set a standard in the gospel music space and inspires her with what can be achieved with talent in Christian music.

Minister Blessing Lopez is a multi-business entrepreneur whose ventures span beauty, food, hospitality, and lifestyle. She started out as a model and participated in a beauty pageant, then moved into catering, makeup artistry, interior decoration, and eventually fashion - each new discovery building naturally on the last.

- Cattys GlamMakeup & Cattys Glam Makeup Academy - offering international bridal makeup services and training aspiring artists to professional standards. She has been in the makeup industry for about 10 years.
- Chef Catty/Catty’s Kitchen - a catering and event hosting service.
- Revamp by Catty - a classic renovation and interior refurbishing company
- Stylish Jesus Babes - her personal fashion line. She is the founder, a detail she disclosed openly as something many people were previously unaware of.
As a brand influencer, she has worked with brands spanning electronics (LG), travel, skincare, and gadgets, among others. Her first international makeup booking was a landmark moment in her career, as was conducting training sessions across more than five countries.
Jesus Babes Network (JBN)
Beyond her commercial enterprises, Blessing Lopez is the Steward of the Jesus Babes Network (JBN), an association of women from all walks of life united by a passion for Jesus. JBN exists to raise and groom women - Queens, as she describes them - whose lives reflect the character and glory of God.
