My name is Dinah,
the prodigal daughter who left home.
A well of tears, I dug,
in Father's aged eyes.
A portion of mother's heart,
I punched out.
Bloated with vengeance,
my brothers shed the blood of a race, innocent ones included.
But Yahweh, One who knows my name, says,
"from the house of Shechem,
my remains, He will gather.
In my land, will I dwell, safely.
His holiness, to reveal in me.
Homes, I will build, and vineyards, I will plant.
And to Shechem, justice, for defiling me, the one He vindicated."
