COZA Acquires Atrium Event Centre in Billion Naira Deal After Eviction Notice

The Port-Harcourt Campus of the Commonwealth of Zion Assembly (COZA) in a turn of events has officially and legally acquired the Atrium Event Centre which was formerly on rent to the church and ministry for her services. This acquisition is coming weeks after the previous owners had issued an eviction notice on the church and its management.

According to reports, the acquisition, which runs well into a Multi-Billion-Naira Deal, is set to follow up with another investment of over 1 Billion Naira earmarked for upgrades and Renovations, as the church prepares to welcome its founder and Global Senior Pastor, Reverend Biodun Fatoyinbo in Port-Harcourt later in March, 2026 for the Commissioning of the new facility.

During Rev. Biodun Fatoyinbo's apostolic visit in October 2025, power was suddenly interrupted shortly after he began ministering. Despite efforts to restore electricity, the outage lasted longer than usual. Undeterred, the Senior Pastor continued the service, which concluded powerfully with numerous testimonies of miracles, healings, and breakthroughs.

Known for its culture of excellence and order, the incident stood out. However, as a rented facility, power and infrastructure maintenance fell under the venue owners' responsibility. In that moment, Rev. Fatoyinbo received clear divine direction to purchase the property. Unknown to him, the owners had already decided to terminate the tenancy. Soon after, COZA received formal eviction notice to vacate by December 2025.

Instead of searching for another location, the church leadership moved swiftly to acquire the entire complex, which includes four expansive halls, a restaurant, and other supporting facilities.

The multi-billion naira deal has transformed a challenge into a major milestone. COZA has further committed N1 billion towards comprehensive renovations to elevate the centre to global standards of excellence. Upon completion, the upgraded property is expected to be valued at over 5 billion Naira

Renovation works are progressing rapidly and scheduled for completion within three months as Reverend Biodun Fatoyinbo is set to return to Port Harcourt in the first week of March 2026 to officially commission the new COZA-owned facility. Congratulations to the COZA family on this remarkable testimony of faith and strategy!
