The New Man Movement, a gospel media ministry has in partnership with Nedellum Partners, launched The Church Legal Hub in a strategic move to strengthen legal protection for churches and ministries in Nigeria.
New Man Movement is a faith based organization that focuses on sharing the gospel via the media, as well as leadership development and organizational strengthening for faith-based and nonprofit institutions in Nigeria, helping leaders build healthy, sustainable organizations. On the other hand, Nedellum Partners is a Nigerian law firm specializing in corporate, commercial, and nonprofit law, with a track record of advising startups, NGOs, and religious organizations on compliance and governance.
Announcing the strategic partnership, Nelson Ayomitunde Vincent, Founder of The New Man and Legal Counsel at Nedellum Partners explained that The Church Legal Hub aims at providing accessible legal and governance support to churches, ministries, and faith-based NGOs across Nigeria.
The collaboration combines New Man’s work in faith media, leadership and organizational development, as well as Nedellum Partners’ legal expertise in corporate and nonprofit law, for the effective operation of the Church Legal Hub. With a specialized focus on ministry compliance and governance, the partnership is set to deliver structured legal reviews, constitution drafting, CAC registration support, and ongoing compliance advisory tailored to the unique needs of faith-based organizations.
Speaking further on the partnership, Nelson mentioned that many ministries operate with constitutions copied from templates or default CAC forms, leaving them exposed to governance disputes, leadership conflicts, and regulatory issues. This partnership addresses that gap by helping leaders build legal structures that match their vision, protect founders, and ensure long-term stability.
Under the partnership, churches and ministries will gain access to:
- Constitution Review and Drafting with Custom governance documents that define roles, limits, accountability, and succession.
- CAC Registration and Compliance Support – End-to-end assistance with incorporation and post-registration compliance.
- Legal Advisory for Ministry Operations with comprehensive Guidance on employment, property, contracts, and dispute prevention.
- Training for Pastors and Administrative Teams – Practical sessions on governance, risk, and legal hygiene for ministry leaders.
He concluded by stating that most ministries don’t fail because of vision but because the structure can’t carry the vision. “The law is not the enemy of ministry. It’s the framework that protects it, and this partnership is about giving ministry leaders the legal foundation to build for the long term.”, Nelson said.
The partnership is effective immediately. Services will be available to churches, ministries, and faith-based NGOs nationwide through both virtual and in-person consultations. The Church Legal Hub is a community and advisory platform providing legal support to pastors, ministry founders, and their legal teams to build ministries that are spiritually sound, legally protected, and structurally built to last.
