If you are reading this, there are chances that you want to become a global minister and basically extend the reach of the gospel online through your ministry. While you have great intentions, you must understand that the idea of becoming virtually relevant is for God’s people to raise disciples. Of a truth, we have been called to raise disciples and the essence of the internet for any ministry is discipleship. However to be virtually relevant, you must understand that:
1. The media is a Mountain
2. You a king on the mountain because you are the representative of the king of kings.
So then, if we are representing a king and a kingdom, our ears must be close to the one who sent us. You must know what to say per time, you must know how to say what to say and you must know what to be said and when to say it. As Ministers, we have a responsibility to rise and God keeps calling us to do more. If you do not rise to your responsibility; Your sphere of influence will remain vacant and the ones you have been sent to will be robbed of the opportunity to experience a better life in God. The word of God in Revelations 11:15 confirms this saying that “...the kingdom of the world has become the kingdom of our Lord and of his Messiah, and he will reign for ever and ever.”
Ministry Marketing
Many people cringe when they see 'Ministry Marketing' because it sounds strange. Why should I market ministry you may ask? This is because we have thought of marketing in the light of a 'secular business' perspective only. The Dictionary definition of Marketing is the action or business of promoting and selling products or services in order to generate revenue or create awareness for the brand, company or organization.
Marketing in God’s kingdom involves promoting one person and that’s Jesus. When you begin to look at it like this, you’ll realize that it is not about you or your personal agenda, it is about promoting God’s agenda. God has given you a message and marketing is a tool you use to deliver that message. The end goal is not for you to become a celebrity, it is to serve God and serve people. Failing to promote your ministry is doing a disservice to the people you’ve been called to serve. Marketing is to reach more people, and when more people are reached, more lives are impacted. Ministry marketing is a game changer and it will empower you to take steps that will make you profit in your God-given assessment.
We are all marketers in this Kingdom. Whether we do it online, offline, through our Ministry, careers, family and even daily life, we are meant to be marketing Jesus. - I always say, 'your personality amplifies your message'. You don't have to change how you sound, the pitch of your tone or how you look because you think that's how you'll be accepted. By all means, look good and speak well. Engage your personality and give people the opportunity to meet you as they reach you.
- Be consistent. Do the work and show up as frequently as possible. Create a rhythm as to how you'll reach your people. Whether it is a specific time you send your emails to your mailing community or post on Facebook, Instagram etc. Be available and reachable. Let people know you can be reached, responsive and liked.

When God gives us the big or grand picture of purpose, He commissions us to walk through the step by step process of birthing this picture till it becomes a reality. The process of incubating, birthing and manifesting this purpose of God is delivered through people. Nelson, Ministry is about people but it begins with you and what you know.
I believe that the first level of structure we must begin to focus on is not so much in the gadgets you use but more in the people you are grooming. Everything you do about the gospel online or offline is about serving people till they become mature and can serve their communities, nations and countries within their design as God intended.
There can however be no structure without governance. Governance is the capacity to exercise your dominion and rulership within the confines of your assignments. Most of what is a struggle to setting up an effective ministry online lies on how you have chosen to govern yourself, the ministry and it's processes.
Self-governance: this is where it all begins. This is what determines how far or wide you can influence and impact. Everything that is possible within your assignment can only be materialised if you believe it and commit to it first.
What are your specific instructions concerning the assignment?
What level of discipline must be in place for you to deliver excellently on this assignment?
What routines are not working and must be changed?
What relationships must you begin to nurture to deliver on destiny?
Self-governance is the engine of any other form of structure you engage for effective ministering online.
🎲 The message God has given you is gold. It's a treasure. And it is good. The platform by which you express it does not reduce its quality. Protect it and continually go to its source to stay quality, updated and relevant.
🎲 The online space is a call to serve the people as treasures. God's gold ornaments - not to be exploited or down-graded.
🎲 Believe that reaching and serving souls online would birth an increase and a full-flowing of the presence of God in you regardless of distance.
🎲 Don't contaminate your call with pride or greed. As a minister, the line is very thin. Especially when you are engaging online.
P.S: Ultimately, the standard of doing ministry is still the same - The Word of God. The platform doesn't change the measuring yardstick on your scorecard.

Can you hear the sounds of the alarm? There is a call from God to create that is particularly strong this season. This call did not begin with our generation. Every time a crisis occurred throughout scripture, God called out creators and we see them birth things that had never been executed by their generations before.
The call to create is a call to partnership & fellowship with the father, so we can begin to see as God sees. This calling is not limited to creating designs, content creation, posting captions, creating videos etc. It is about big picture thinking and big picture reality. It is seeing into a future that already exists in God and causing that future to come into reality, thereby making the world a more conducive and productive realm to live in.
The gross darkness we see in the world is your call to rise up and create. Your God - Elohim the Creator of all is seeking to express His diverse creative ingenuity through you. What will be your answer to this call? Will you respond with urgency and seek knowledge if you are not sure how to do this? Will you yield to this call or just let it slide saying whatever will be will be? How are you going to respond?

Nelson, there are five main areas you must focus on to create a sustainable ministry online. If you desire to watch your online influence grow in multiples, then continue reading this.
The truth is, you don't have to do much to have the kind of ministry productivity you look forward to. 3 Years ago, I got tired of just posting online. I wanted to know if I was really productive with the work God had laid on my heart to do and that's when I started paying attention to these 5 things.
If you go back to the drawing board after reading these five things, you'll get the results you're looking for and you'll start getting more fulfilled doing ministry online.
Get your notepad and let's check them out:
- Purpose: You need to determine why you do what you do. Yes, spell it out. Don't assume that because you have a following, then you have a community. The purpose of all of your content creation should be to build a healthy, growing community.
- People: Be specific about identifying who you're reaching per time. People don't usually know what they need and so it is your place as a ministry to call out your target audience. Make it obvious in all your online communication paraphernalia so as to attract them. In your spoken and written words, call them out.
- Platform: The idea of online ministry is to meet your target audience where they are, not where you are. By identifying your audience, you should know what app or social page they spend the most of their time. Set up your presence, get your messaging right and reach them there.
- Publishing Your Message: Has everything to do with your communication language, style and sound. You don't have to sound like who you're not to reach the people you've been sent to. Be you. Use relatable terms and be authentic in your approach. People relate with people. Once they can feel the authenticity in your message, they'll connect with your ministry and create a conducive community for them.
- Multiplication: This is not just about increasing your numbers. It is about multiplying your message through your people. As your online followers turned disciples grow, your real measure of multiplication is that they can grow into becoming who God has called them to be. Teach them, Grow them, Nurture them and Mentor them to manifestation.

Over the weekend, I was with a christian business owner who runs a fashion outfit, as we spoke, she began to share about the struggle she has with staffing and how she knows God has called her to build a big brand but she noticed that those she recently staffed had a way fo limiting the possibilities available to her in God.
