Dunamis Bible Institute is an accredited Bible seminary established by the African Mission Evangelism Inc. in Tamale, with the aim of training Pastors, Missionaries, Youth and Children Leaders, other Church Workers and interested persons in Christian/Pastoral Ministries and Missions. The Bible Institute provides a chance for anyone, from any church background to be taught the truth from God's Word without denominational bias. The Dunamis Bible Institute also offers the opportunity to grow in sound biblical and cultural knowledge for effective and servant-like leadership.
Guided by a strong vision, the Dunamis Bible Institute is committed to providing theological education that is both relevant to the needs of practical ministry and accessible to women and men called by God. It grounds its curriculum and life in the Bible in training students purposely for Church planting, preaching and teaching by applying the Word of God by the Power of the Holy Spirit.
According to the Dunamis Bible Institute's website, the institute has a mission to offer opportunities to people in deprived communities, especially in the Northern parts of Ghana, and give them access to sound biblical and cultural theological knowledge and education for effective and servant-like leadership in their Christian works.
The Institute exists to train and mentor pastors, missionaries, church planters and other church workers in sound cultural and biblical ways for effective ministry.
DBI is here to train and mentor men and women who are called by God and are looking for spiritual self-enrichment and also for those who wish to use such a formal training in Bible and Theology for Christian ministry-related purposes. Such people look for the spiritual quality of instruction and not for government accreditation of biblical and theological training programs.
We have however put a system in place to ensure quality theological and ministerial education, especially at the Diploma level.
Summary: our primary goal is to train and mentor more people for Kingdom expansion. A call to obey the Great Commission of Jesus Christ. We guarantee a spirit-filled theological and ministerial training with high moral standards but not government jobs.
The Bible Institute graduated its Maiden set on Wednesday, 12th December, 2018 with 16 graduands
Programmes & Requirements
1. Certificate in Ministry
Short term courses tailored to suit those entering it.
2. Certificate in Pastoral Ministries
This program is a one year course designed for persons who are mainly interested in church planting, preaching, and teaching.
3. Higher Certificate in Practical Theology
The H/C in Practical Theology Program is a two-year program designed to equip persons to perform basic tasks of Christian ministry. This is pursued through biblical, theological, historical, educational, and guided practical ministry studies.
4. Diploma in Theology
This is an advanced study to equip Chris-tian leaders in biblical research methods. Persons who complete this course should be able to research and apply biblical lessons to the needs of the 21st-century church. To help students understand and apply the principles, methods, and concepts of wholistic mission for effective evangelism, church, and community development.
Requirements for admission
A strong secondary education is required for all the programs except the CIM. Persons with weaker secondary grades would be admitted to the H/C in the Pastoral Ministries program

We are fulfilling the call of God by nurturing ordinary men and women into extraordinary agents of transformation, equipping them to preach and teach God's word across the globe as instructed by Jesus in Mathew 28:18-20. We help students understand the principles, methods, and concepts of a wholistic mission for effective evangelism, church development, and community development.
