How much can a guilty conscience be worth?

Can it be thousand words that taunt,

Or the hundred thousand daggers of regret that stab deeper and deeper?

Probably, a million lashes of pain that leaves lines of bitterness,

Or the venomous termite of depression that sucks and drain?

How much can a guilty conscience worth?

Can it be the salty tears that soothes the tongue,

But causes the belly to ache?

Or better still,

To disguise as the last good man,

Or to live in total denial of the demons.

Maybe to make delusion a companion. Who knows?

Again, I ask :

How much can a guilty conscience be worth?

Tell me that I may quench this thirst of inquisitiveness.

For I know that disguise, denial and delusion

Are best friends,

And man's enemies.

Ask me how much a guilty conscience can be worth,

I'll tell you it worth billions of acceptance,

Trillions of repentance.

Ask me how much a guilty conscience can worth,

I'll tell you that the sandy sea measure not to forgiveness,

And the galaxy radiate not than happiness.
