Born on 5th May 1983, Pastor John Ayodeji Oyeniran is a theologian, Bible teacher, preacher, trainer, seminary professor, and biblical content creator. He is the Senior Pastor of The Great Assembly of God’s Own Ministries and the founder of the Lagos Biblical Interpretation School (LBIS).
A self-described “Biblist,” Pastor John is a scholar of Biblical Hebrew and Greek, with a deep commitment to equipping both laymen and clergy with a clear, grounded understanding of Scripture. He is also passionate about healthy living, and his doctoral research reflects that intersection - focusing on the dietary laws of the Old Testament and their implications for contemporary life.
Ministry & Teaching
Pastor John Oyeniran has dedicated his ministry to making the Bible accessible and transformative for everyday believers. Over the years, he has organised and received invitations to teach at churches, bible schools, and theological seminaries across Nigeria and beyond, training individuals to understand Scripture with clarity and apply it with confidence.

He hosts the Ibadan Biblical Clarity Summit (iBCS), an annual Bible clarification event designed to deepen the believer’s understanding of Scripture, foster spiritual growth, and explore diverse interpretations and perspectives of God’s Word.
