Christian Poetry: Unashamed of the Gospel by Omotosho Oyindamola Omolara

My mouth will not keep mute of the goodness of God
Neither will I be quiet of the good news
For that is the mandate of Christ
That all men should make the gospel known to the world

For I am not ashamed of the gospel
With my life I will proclaim the magnificent love of Christ
I will never hide my identity
As the proclaimer and publisher of the gospel.

For I am not ashamed of the gospel
For it is the Power of God unto salvation
For it is the Pathway to meeting with God
It is the Hope of Eternal life

For I am not ashamed of the gospel
For it Is the word and embodiment of God
The spirit and breathe of God
The living Truth

For I am not ashamed of the gospel
For it is clarity to the confused
It is hope to the hopeless
And liberation to the captives

For I am not ashamed of the gospel
Brutally destroying the ways of the devil
By making known to all men power that delivers from his grip
Power that gives life to the lifeless

For I am not ashamed of the gospel
For it’s been commanded of me to preach
For Christ has sent me on this journey of faith
And it is needed by the rejected ones

For I am not ashamed of the gospel
For a faithful witness is what he seeks
For I have been empowered and given the authority
To step over snakes and scorpions

For I am not ashamed of the gospel
For it’s the righteousness of God therein
Neither is there salvation in other name;
For there’s none other name under heaven given among men whereby we must be saved

Even the apostles, at the peak of persecution
Never stopped from spreading the News
For it is expected of me to speak as an Oracle of God
I will not deny many generations of the opportunity

For it’s written “How beautiful are the feet of them that preached the gospel of peace,
 And bring glad tidings of good things
For I am a light expounder

I will publish the word of God throughout the region
For he has given unto me confidence not to be afraid And Boldly will I Declare
I AM UNAPOLOGETICALLY NOT ASHAMED OF THE GOSPEL!!!
