Christian Poetry: A Sight of I Am

Hair as white as wool,
Eyes sparkled with fire,
Voice like that of many waters.

Dressed in a garment down to foot,
Golden girdle about His waist,
Feet like unto a fine brass.

Amidst seven candlesticks,
A right hand that held seven stars,
And a mouth with two edged swords.

Countenance like that of the sun,
A sight that made me tremble,
But, He said, "Fear not!"
