His Grace and My Sins Thomas Oluwafunmilayo

Lost in the wilderness of sin,
Finding an escape from the world,
Drowned in iniquities.

All hopes were shattered,
Despised, broken and knocked down,
The world falling apart,
I watched it fall down in ruins.

Then he came,
In his gracious posture,
I saw hope, grace and mercy,
In his sparkling, holy eyes.
He reached to me,
With his stretched arms of love,
And I felt peace following him.

I am redeemed by grace,
He has made his bride,
His beloved and chosen,
Clothing me in white.

Part of his chosen ones,
Who have been called out,
In his Grace.
Given unto us great and precious promises,
Having escaped the corruption
Of this world.

I enjoy his promises,
Basking in his grace and love.
Being part of this wonderful commission,
Lord Jesus gave unto me.
