On this day in Christian History, Clement C. Moore, who established the General Theological Seminary and authored the poem "'Twas the Night Before Christmas," passed away on July 10, 1863.

10th July, 1990

On this day in Christian History, Donald McGavran, a missionary to India and a pivotal figure in the modern Church Growth movement, passed away at the age of 92.

10th July, 2013

On this day in Christian History, Pastor Ayo Oritsejafor was re-elected for a second term as the President of CAN. He was first elected to the position in May 2010.
