15th July, 1836

Bishop William White, the first and fourth Presiding Bishop of the Episcopal Church in the United States, died. He played a key role in establishing the American Anglican Church after the American Revolution.

15th July, 1932

Gladys Aylward, a British missionary, was officially commissioned to China after being rejected by the China Inland Mission. She later became famous for her work among orphans and refugees during World War II.

15th July, 1957

Daniel Kolawole Olukoya, born on July 15, 1957, in Akure, Ondo State, Nigeria, is a prominent Christian leader. He is the founder and General Overseer of Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries (MFM), a church renowned for its emphasis on deliverance and prayer. Beyond his pastoral work, Dr. Olukoya is an accomplished scientist, having earned a Ph.D. in Molecular Genetics from the University of Reading, UK. His ministry, established in 1989, has grown extensively, with branches worldwide, and he has authored over 250 books on Christian living and spiritual warfare.

15th July, 1967

Pastor (Dr.) Elizabeth Folashade Olukoya was born on July 15, 1967. She shares this birthdate with her husband, Dr. Daniel Kolawole Olukoya, the founder and General Overseer of Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries (MFM), who was born on July 15, 1957. In 2024, they celebrated their 57th and 67th birthdays, respectively.
