Born on 28th January, Prophet Olabisi Adamu, born January 28, is a Nigerian ordained prophet, life coach, and businesswoman based in Abuja. She is the founder of Ignite Intercessors Church (formerly Ignite Intercessors Ministry), best known for its daily 5am prayer sessions, which have grown from a handful of attendees into a movement with a physical presence in Abuja, Lagos, London, and Ghana.
Early Life
Prophet Olabisi Adamu was conceived during a difficult season for her parents - her mother was still a teenager and her father a recent university graduate, and there was early pressure not to continue the pregnancy, which did not go through. This chapter of her early life is one of several formative experiences that shaped her sense of purpose.
Ministry Beginnings
Prophet Olabisi began her ministry work in 2017 under the name The Queen Esther Banquet, before going on to serve actively under other established ministries in both Lagos and Abuja. This period of service preceded the founding of what would become Ignite Intercessors Ministry.
In February 2021, after a season away from active ministry following childbirth and the disruptions of the COVID-19 pandemic, she sensed a specific call to teach people how to pray, and began hosting daily prayer sessions at 5:00AM. What started as a small gathering grew steadily: she has recounted hosting monthly meetings in Lagos at the Federal Palace Hotel that began with as few as ten attendees and eventually required a thousand-seat venue.
The ministry, now known as Ignite Intercessors Church, headquartered in Utako, Abuja, was formally inaugurated as a church on 30th November, 2025, with a dedicated 600-seat hall where she teaches on Sundays.
Ministry Reach
Ignite Intercessors Church's 5am prayer sessions are broadcast daily via Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, and Mixlr, extending her reach well beyond Abuja. The ministry has also hosted in-person prayer meetings in Lagos, London, and Ghana, drawing believers who otherwise connect with the ministry only through its livestreamed prayers.
Business Ventures
Alongside her ministry work, Prophet Olabisi is an active businesswoman. She is the Creative Director of Pro Thirty One Designs, an interior design showroom in Abuja, and runs a branding and advertising agency supporting businesses with visibility and growth strategy. She also founded an online Bible school for children in 2020, with stated plans to expand it into a full academic institution.
