Pastor Adeboye, RCCG set to Host Annual Convention

The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), under the leadership of its General Overseer, Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye, has commenced its annual fasting and prayer exercise ahead of the church’s forthcoming Annual Convention.

According to an announcement by the church, the daily fasting and prayer programme begins today, Saturday, July 5, and will run through Friday, July 31, as members worldwide unite in spiritual preparation for the highly anticipated convention.

Participants are expected to break their fast daily at 6:00 p.m., dedicating the period to seeking God’s face for a successful convention and praying for divine visitation, revival, and spiritual renewal.

The initiative forms part of RCCG’s longstanding tradition of preparing spiritually before its Annual Convention, one of the church’s largest global gatherings that attracts worshippers from Nigeria and across the world for days of worship, prayer, biblical teaching, and encounters with God.

In its invitation to members and the wider Christian community, the church encouraged everyone to take part in the exercise, describing it as an opportunity to journey together in prayer for the success of the convention.

“Join us on this remarkable journey as we pray for the success of the convention,” the church said in its announcement via the RCCG PR official social media pages.

The forthcoming Annual Convention, themed “Mountain Movers,” will mark the 74th edition of the event and is expected to bring together millions of participants, both physically and virtually, for a season of spiritual impartation, miracles, and renewed commitment to the Christian faith.

As preparations gather momentum, RCCG has called on members across its parishes worldwide to participate faithfully in the fasting and prayer programme, expressing confidence that the convention will be a time of divine intervention and transformation for individuals, families, the Church, and the nations.
