The Famine of Fire

The Famine of Fire by Nelson Vincent Ayomitunde

The Bible in Leviticus 6:12 says that the fire upon the altar should remain burning and should not be put out. The Priest is instructed to burn wood on it every morning, and lay the burnt offering in order upon it. Thereafter, he shall burn the fat of the peace offerings on it. This practice was an old time requirement before offering could go up to God. Today, it is more than significant to us as believers.

The spiritual fire of our lives should burn constantly and never be put out. As priests unto God, the fire must constantly burn with the Word of God and Prayer. It's dangerous for the fire to be put out.

There is a fire in you that should never be put off. The Holy Ghost should always be at work in us and it is mandatory for us to keep burning the fire both in word and in prayer

1 Peter 2:9; But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for God’s own possession, so that you may proclaim the excellencies of Him who has called you out of darkness into His marvelous light;

It is a compulsory thing for us to keep the fire burning as a Christian in the place of prayer and study of the word

Acts  6:4 But we will give ourselves continually to prayer, and to the ministry of the word.

The act of prayer and the continual study of the word keep the fire in us. An altar where we present our body a living sacrifice which is our reasonable service to God

Deuteronomy 14:2
For you are a holy people to the Lord your God, and the Lord has chosen you to be a people for His own possession out of all the peoples who are on the face of the earth.

It is a great thing to always confess that you are chosen to proclaim the gospel to the whole world. Confess that do that you proclaim the gospel of Christ to the whole world by having dominion over  everything including your spiritual, physical live and everything else about you. You should also confess that you are mandated to stand and orchestrate your authority as believers in form of priesthood

We are the ministers of God called to show forth his light and we can't achieve that if we don't keep the fire burning🔥

I keep the fire burning in me no matter what

Isaiah 61:6
But you will be called the priests of the Lord; You will be spoken of as ministers of our God.You will eat the wealth of nations,And in their riches you will boast.

We are called to manifest as the priest of the Lord which is Jesus  Christ

Revelations 1:6 also says that "He has made us to be a kingdom, priests to His God and Father—to Him be the glory and the dominion forever and ever. Amen.

There's a kingdom and priest to his God and Father. In being a priest lies your dominion and authority as believer

I am a priest and I have dominion because AUTHORITY has been given to me in the name of Jesus

The flame of fire is when we exercise our authority as believers standing but this is in having intimacy and deep fellowship with the sweet Holy Spirit. He is the charge that keeps the fire burning_
When you don't feel like studying, reading the word
You keep the fire burning when you have total submission to the Holy Spirit

John 15:5-7
The Holy Spirit keep the fire burning in you when you have total submission to him, without him we cant do anything
John  15:5 I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.  15:6 If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned.  15:7 If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.

Acts  1:8 But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.  1:9 And when he had spoken these things, while they beheld, he was taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight.
This emphasizes Revelations 1:5-6. Christ died for the remission of our sins so that we might be translated from darkness to his everlasting light

Rev 1:5 says he loved us and washed us from our sins in his own blood
The blood stands here as Christ paying it all for us once
He replaced the old way of burning sacrifice in the old testament by redeeming us
We are priests of the new creations which is Christ, Christ was the Chief Priest who paid he sacrifice once and for all

15:7 says that if we abide in him and he abides in us, the word abide in you then we can dispense the authority he has given to us

We are not shaken but we stand strong deeply rooted in him and we faint not

A famine of fire is a time to charge and get closer to God by studying the word and prayer. Prayer especially is very important and there is Grace available to do so
And please understanding the Love of God is important. It us the love of God that keeps you and makes you hunger for more

At this time, I hunger for more at this time I am not weary and I faint not
I am strengthened by my inner man because the Holy Spirit ushers my step at this time to do his will and his good pleasure*

I am of God and all I have is his. I am thereby submissive to him to obey all instruction and I am stuck at his will, thereby my ways are prosperous because I keep the flame of fire burning and it keeps burning and will never be put out because I will trust in him with whole heart, might, I will acknowledge my ways. I will continue to study, pray and show people around me the love of God the Father has chosen me because he has chosen me to be a king and priest and in him I have dominion over all things because I know who I am and I continually have deep fellowship and intimacy with the Holy Spirit forever and forever, Amen

LET US KEEP BURNING THE FLAME OF Fire
