The Power of Babel and Pentecost

All through Scriptures, it is clear that God understands the power of unity and being in one accord. However, no matter how strongly united a people can be, intent is a necessary factor in determining the kind of results that they yield. In this article, there are two case stories to examine - Babel and Pentecost, considering obviously that while Babel was confusion, Pentecost was accord.

Looking at Babel and Pentecost, one common factor is language. Language is the vehicle of communication (whether verbal or non-verbal). What was lost at Babel in Genesis 11:1-9 was the power to unite and set out to achieve just anything. It appeared that this power was to unite was heavily present at Pentecost in Acts 2:1-6.
"...people who had come from every country in the world... were all excited, because all of them heard the believers talking in their own languages".

The Church should realize the importance of this new order instead of creating smaller "Babels"?
