Biography of Minister Femi Okunuga

Born on January 8, Minister Femi Okunuga is a young vibrant musician who stands in the fore-runners of world class Gospel Music Ministers. He is a Nigerian gospel worship leader, song writer, bass player, and music producer who has been blessing lives with his songs. He is currently signed unto One Halelluyah Records.

Minister Femi Okunuga hails from Epe, Lagos State. Resident in Lagos, Nigeria, Minister Femi Okunuga is the convener of the Reconciliation Worship Concert, a music concert which is aimed at bringing people to repentance and drawing people closer to Jesus in intimacy. 

He released his first debut sing “Open Up the Heavens” in 2012, Second single “Emi Orun, in 2013, then he went on to release the popularly acclaimed worship song “Only You… Alpha My Beginning, Omega My Very End, You are worthy to be Praised Only You Only You” in 2015. Minister Femi Okunuga droped his first official music video of “Only you are God” in the 3rd of April 2017 since its release in December 2015. It was recorded live at the Ultima studios, during the Friends of Worship maiden edition which featured Abigail and Uwana Etuk.  In 2020, he released a song alongside the One Hallelujah Records artistes - Moses Onofeghara, Michael Akingbala, Beejay Sax, Tosin Bee, Pastor Kunle Ajayi and Minister Bidemi Olaoba.

He is known for his heart for God in his words “I serve Jesus for A Living” and has ministered on different platforms including RCCG Redemption Camp, KICC, and Kingsword among others. He has also worked with Gospel ministers like Pastor Nathaniel Bassey, Evangelist Bukola Bekes, Minister Efe Nathan, Odunayo Aboderin and Funke Akinokun, amongst many others. He has one album to his credit, titled “Open Up The Heavens” and he currently serves as the Worship Leader at The Redeemed Christian Church of God Dominion Cathedral, Egbeda, Lagos.

Minister Femi Okunnuga is happily married to his heart-throb, Ruth Diamond Okunuga. They tied the knot on May 29th, 2014 and are currently blessed with three beautiful children - two boys and a girl.
