World Prayer Stretch Day 36: Prayers for Chile

In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, we welcome you to Day 36 of our Prayer stretch for countries across the world. Today, we are praying for Chile. Kindly find the prayers below:

Prayer

Lord we thank you for Chile. Thank you for your light in this land.

Dear Father, we commit this land and everything in it to you. We pray that you help us stay united. Tear off every garment of discord that covers us and safe us from internal rivalry. Help our beliefs and systems by putting them in alignment to your will. Teach us to place our priorities right as a nation and help our people to know you.

Strengthen our defence and build a wall around our nation. Let the fiery darts of the enemy lose its way. We pray that there shall be no cause for war nor man-made destruction of any kind. At the same time, we pray that we are safe from any form of natural disaster that could claim lives and properties. We declare that your hand of safety shall rest upon us as a nation in Jesus' name.

As our children grow, show them your will and help them walk in it. Teach us your ways that we might teach it to them. Help us to raise a God-sensitive generation who will represent Christ wherever we find ourselves. We declare that we are ambassadors of the Gospel of Christ and God's power is mighty upon our nation.

We pray for peace in this land in Jesus' name. Amen
