World Prayer Stretch Day 40: Prayers for Congo (Congo-Brazzaville)

Prayer

Lord we thank you for Congo (Congo-Brazzaville). Thank you for your light in this land.

Dear God, we pray that you help us grow as a nation in your will. Help us to explore the opportunities, gifts, talents and natural resources that you have reserved in our land. As we explore, teach us to be wise in our dealings and lead us to create national wealth that runs through generations unborn.

We pray for our seeds in this land. Lord, help our lands to yield. We pray for a supply of water for our planting and sun for the growth of our crops. As we plant, the earth shall not reject our seeds. From today, our economy booms like never before in Jesus' name. 

As we prosper financially, help us to be at peace with all men, Show us your grace and favour as you teach us to love our neighbours. We pray for the body of Christ in this land that we are empowered to stand strong and firm in God. The gates of heall will not prevail over the church. Let the fire of evangelism burn in the hearts of men. We call for a harvest of souls into God's kingdom and we pray for the rising of men who will do God's will alone. This we pray in Jesus' name. 

We pray for peace in this land in Jesus' name. Amen
