World Prayer Stretch Day 41: Prayers for Costa Rica

In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, we welcome you to Day 41 of our Prayer stretch for countries across the world. Today, we are praying for Costa Rica. Kindly find the prayers below:

 

Prayer

Lord we thank you for Costa Rica. Thank you for your light in this land.

Dear God, we ask today that you show us the way to go in this land. Save us from ourselves, especially where we have unconsciously set traps for our nation. Deliver us from evil and tragedy of any kind. Help us to live according to your standards so our country shall be comfortable for your worship.

We repent as a nation and ask that you oh Lord, shall help us deal with the issue of immorality in this land. We take steps and make efforts to live better as a people. Save us and help our young ones to know you and live according to your dictates. Teach us your word and help us grow in you.

Let every good prophecy that has gone into the future for our land begin to work in fulfilment. Let us be made instruments for your use. Help our leaders to stay focused while leading us. We pray that every form of national deceit, bribery and corruption shall be exposed and dealt with. We pray in the name of Jesus that sadness and frustration shall cease from our land. Save us from any impending wars, crime and terrorism. Turn the hearts of kidnappers and abductors towards you. Let  the stubborn and unrepentant enemies of our country begin to attack themselves in Jesus' name.

We pray for peace in this land in Jesus' name. Amen
