World Prayer Stretch Day 63: Prayers for Gambia

 

In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, we welcome you to Day 63 of our Prayer stretch for countries across the world. Prayer

Lord we thank you for Gambia. Thank you for your light in this land.

The enemies of God scatter at His rising, so because we are of the Lord, we pray that every stubborn and unrepentant enemy of our nation shall be scattered. Let their plans become inefficient and their plots be turned against them. 

We take refuge in the Most High God and hold His word as armour. We are highly protected because we have sought the Lord as a nation today. Let the plans of the enemy to destroy this nation begin to work against them. We cause confusion in the camp of the accuser right now in the name of Jesus. 

The Lord is a mighty man in battle and He alone shall fight our battles arise while we hold our peace. The Lord fights our battles and we prosper in this land. The Lord fights our battles and we reign as He has destined us. Our land is safe and secure from today henceforth in Jesus’ mighty name.

Let every good prophecy that has gone into the future for our land begin to work in fulfilment. We pray in the name of Jesus that sadness and frustration shall cease from our land. Save us from any impending wars, crime and terrorism. Turn the hearts of kidnappers and abductors towards you. Let  the stubborn and unrepentant enemies of our country begin to attack themselves in Jesus' name.

We pray for peace in this land in Jesus' name. Amen
