25 Bible Verses and Confessions For Your Academics

Many people, including Christians believe that luck plays a major role in doing exceeding well at school. However, the concept of luck has no Biblical or spiritual roots as far as the Gospel of Christ is concerned so, most people find it odd to pray fervently or declare words over their academics. This being the case, we must remember what 3rd John 2 says - "Beloved, I pray that all may go well with you and that you may be in good health, as it goes well with your soul." [ESV]. Being born again, your soul is flourishing so, every endeavor of yours must also flourish, your academics inclusive.

 

 

These verses below speak of God's great plan for your academics;

1. James 1:5

"If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him." [KJV]

Confession: I ask for the wisdom of God today and I know and believe that I have it because God gives me all things liberally.

2. Psalms 119:99

"I have more understanding than all my teachers: for thy testimonies are my meditation." [KJV]

Confession: I understand all my teacher says, and even when it looks like I don’t, I am assured that I have more understanding than them because the testimonies of my God have become my meditation. My mind is opened up and I am not stranded!

3.1 Kings 4:29

"And God gave Solomon wisdom and understanding exceeding much, and largeness of heart, even as the sand that is on the sea shore." [KJV] 

Confession: Wisdom is from you, Oh Lord! Therefore, I ask that you grant unto me exceeding understanding and wisdom as I read.

4. Psalms 1:3

"And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper." 

Confession: I am tree planted by the rivers of water, I bring forth fruit in due seasons, I bring forth answers during my examinations. My brain does not wither and whatsoever I do, including my school works prosper! My papers become the marking guide because everything I write prospers!

5. Psalms 2:8

"Ask of me, and I shall give thee the heathen for thine inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for thy possession." [KJV]

Confession: Father, I ask that you help me in my academics, give unto me an excellent result for my inheritance and the highest parts of the first class for my possession. As I make conscious and dedicated efforts to read, I see excellent results. I am victorious and no topic appears too hard for me to comprehend.

6. Psalms 5:12

"For thou, Lord, wilt bless the righteous; with favour wilt thou compass him as with a shield." [KJV] 

Confession: I am righteous because Christ has become my sin and I, his righteousness. Therefore I speak that my academics is blessed and God has empowered me to experience favour before my lecturers and everyone who will come across my scripts. When they see my papers, all they will think about is how to favour me in Jesus name.

7. Psalms 18:43

"Thou hast delivered me from the strivings of the people; and thou hast made me the head of the heathen: a people whom I have not known shall serve me." [KJV] 

Confession: God has delivered me from the strivings of the people - I do not struggle to understand. My lecturers are not tough on me and course materials enter my hands and brain with ease! God has made me the head of my class, faculty and department! You have handed over my faculty into my hands. The pillars of my college are right in my hands! A people whom I have not known shall serve me. They shall compete to bring to me necessary course materials and past questions. A people whom I do not know shall stand before my school management board to create cut-off marks that will favour me. Academics is easy for me. I do not speak stories of struggle and bitterness that all other people speak!

8. Psalms 20:7

"Some trust in chariots, and some in horses: but we will remember the name of the Lord our God." [KJV]

Confession: Some trust in reading overnight while others trust in cheating but as for me, I will remember the name of Yeshua, I will do my best in reading and studying, call upon Him and He will show Himself strong on my behalf. I am not intimidated by the reading patterns of others. I do my best in God and put my trust in Him to water my efforts into success.

9. Daniel 1:20

"And in all matters of wisdom and understanding, that the king enquired of them, he found them ten times better than all the magicians and astrologers that were in all his realm." [KJV]

Confession: In all matters of wisdom of Anatomy/Literature and Biochemistry/History (Put in your course name as necessary) in which I am/will be enquired, I will be found to be ten times better than all my peers in Jesus' name.

10. Isaiah 41:10

"Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness." [KJV]

Confession: (Put in your name as necessary), fear not, God is with you. Be not dismayed, He is your God and He will strengthen your brain and mental capacity. Yes, He will help you and teach you all you have read and those you've not read. He will uphold your grades from falling with the right hand of His righteousness.

11. Psalm 119:99

The List of First Class Students in my set/class has my name boldly inscribed on it

Confession: I declare that this week and beyond, I have more understanding than my teachers and colleagues in all my courses, because thy testimonies are my meditation - 

 

12.  Psalm 90:17

And may the Lord our God show us His approval and make our efforts successful. Yes, make our efforts successful –
Confession: My efforts and labour over my academics shall be successful and not be a waste by the mercy of God
 

13. Send you help from the sanctuary and support, refresh, and strengthen you from Zion
Confession: I receive help from the Lord and I receive support from men. Strengthen me oh Lord

14. Joshua 1:5

While you are living, all will give way before you: as I was with Moses, so I will be with you; I will not take away my help from you or give you up 

Confession: I AM NOT LIKE UNTO THEM THAT ARE WITHOUT HELP, I HAVE THE HELP OF THE LORD, I AM NOT AFRAID FOR ALL BARRIERS SHALL GIVE WAY FOR ME.

 

15. Genesis 24:21

"O LORD, God of my master," he prayed. "Give me success and show kindness to my master, Abraham. Help me to accomplish the purpose of my journey. 

Confession: I enjoy success and kindness from God. I am helped by the Lord to accomplish the purpose of my journey in this school/institution

16. 3rd John.1.2

Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers.

Confession: I HAVE A SOUND HEALTH, MY BODY IS STRENGTHENED AND I PROSPER IN ALL THINGS

 

17. Deuteronomy 28:13

And the LORD will make you the head and not the tail; you shall be above only, and not be beneath, if you heed the commandments of the LORD your God, which I command you today, and are careful to observe them.

Confession: I AM THE HEAD, I CAN NEVER BE THE TAIL, THE LORD UPHOLDS ME

Confession: I have great peace in my soul because I trust the Lord.

 

 

Verse: Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth - Psalm 46:10

Confession: I am at peace always because  the Lord has gone before me, yes, he will go after me.

 

 

Verse: Urging you on whenever you wander left or right: “This is the right road, walk down this road” - Isaiah 30:21

Confession: I do not labour like the fools. The Lord orders my steps

 

Verse: For I, Yahweh your God, will hold your right hand, saying to you, 'Do not fear; I am helping you.' Is.41:13

Confession: I AM NOT AFRAID BECAUSE THE LORD IS MY EVER PRESENT HELPVerse: They that sow in tears shall reap in joy. He that goeth forth and weepeth, bearing precious seed, shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him. Psalms 126:5-6Confession: My days of singing and rejoicing has come. I’m victorious!Verse: We are of God: he that knoweth God heareth us; he that is not of God heareth not us. I am empowered to accomplish every task and overcome every challenge because a Christ is my source of strength.Verse: The Lord is my Shepherd [to feed, guide, and shield me], I shall not lack. - Ps.23.1Confession: The Lord is my shepherd; He feeds, guides and shields me. I lack nothing because He provides for all my needs.   

Isaiah 41:10

Do not fear, for I am with you. Do not be anxious, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, and I will help you, and I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.

Confession: I am not afraid because the strength of the Lord is with me always. 

 

Isaiah 26:31

You will keep him in perfect peace, Whose mind is stayed on You, Because he trusts in You.

Confession: I have great peace in my soul because I trust in the Lord.

 

Jeremiah 32:27

Behold, I am the LORD, the God of all flesh. Is there anything too hard for Me?

Confession: Behold the Lord is the God of all flesh; Nothing istoo hard for Him. I trust in His limitless power to accomplish the impossible in my life.

 

Jeremiah 33:6

Behold, I will bring it health and healing; I will heal them and reveal to them the abundance of peace and truth.

Confession: THE LORD BRINGS ME HEALTH and healing even as I prepare for my examinations. He reveals to me the abundance of peace and truth. I walk in divine health and wholeness

 

Exodus 31:33

I have filled him with the Spirit of God in wisdom and skill, in understanding and intelligence, in knowledge, and in all kinds of craftsmanship…. 

Conclusion

These words, verses and confessions are life; they are gold and they are greater than any examination tips or school guide that you can read anywhere. The word of God is not limited to just these ten verses for your academics. Indeed, much more scriptures and confessions are right there in the Bible once you take it up to read God’s word.
