12 Scriptures and Confessions For Your Health

God's will and plans for humanity are that we live well to the fullest. Therefore, it is important to cancel out the misconception that God "punishes" people with sicknesses.

12 Scriptures and Confessions For Your Health - New Man Movement

Salvation is like a gift box with lots of layers, the most familiar layer almost every Christian accesses with ease is the victory over sin - which is why practically every Christian can stand on their authority to rebuke sins and all their forms. However, it is a pity that some layers that are needed in our everyday lives are either ignored or not accessed at all. One of these ignored layers is your health. This is why this article collates together some scriptures upon which you can stand in times of sicknesses as trials.

1. Isaiah 53:5

"But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him, and with his stripes, we are healed."

Confession: Christ has been wounded for my transgression, He has carried my bruises! Glory to God! The payment necessary for me to attain peace - Shalom, Shalom, nothing missing, nothing broken has been laid upon Him and thus, by His stripes, I AM HEALED!

2. Psalms 18:45

"The strangers shall fade away, and be afraid out of their close places."

Confession: Sickness (give it a name as necessary), you're not welcome in this body. You're a stranger and so, I declare that you're coming out frightened from your close places. There is a restoration of perfect health for me because Christ has exchanged my broken body for a perfect one!

3. 3 John 2

"Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth."

Confession: Glory! My soul prospers and so, my health prospers! I am not sick, I am not feverish, and I do not have accidents of any kind. My health rejoices in the Holy Ghost all the days of my life!

4. Psalms 30:2

"O Lord my God, I cried unto thee, and thou hast healed me."

Confession: Lord, I cry out to you and I know that you have healed me. You do not heal me halfway, I am completely fine! Totally healed in Jesus' name.

5. 1 Peter 2:24

"Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed."

Confession: I'm dead to sin and all its forms including sicknesses of every kind. I declare that I am the representation of everything that can never go wrong and so I am healed.

6. Psalms 107:20

"He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destruction."

Confession: He has sent His word(Jesus Christ) and so, I am healed and my body, heart, mind, blood and spirit have been snatched out from destruction.

7. Philippians 2:9-11

"Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name:That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father."

Confession: God has exalted Jesus Christ, and Jesus Christ has made me joint-heirs. Therefore, whatever responds to Jesus Christ also responds to me. Cancer, COVID-19, Diabetes, High blood pressure, malaria, typhoid fever and every named or unnamed illness in my body be subject to the authority of Christ in me! I am free and I live long to declare God's glory over my health.

8. Jeremiah 30:17

"For I will restore health unto thee, and I will heal thee of thy wounds, saith the Lord; because they called thee an Outcast, saying, This is Zion, whom no man seeketh after."

Confession: This is God's promise to me. He will heal my wounds and restore my health in Jesus' name.

9. Jeremiah 33:6

"Behold, I will bring it health and cure, and I will cure them, and will reveal unto them the abundance of peace and truth."

Confession: God will bring me health and cure. Yes, He will cure me of all my illnesses and He will reveal unto me the abundance of peace!

10. Psalms 147:3

"He healeth the broken in heart, and bindeth up their wounds."

Confession: Though I might be heartbroken, God is more than enough for me. Though I am sick even to death, God is binding up my wounds and I am enjoying divine health forever.

11. Malachi 4:2

"But unto you that fear my name shall the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in his wings, and ye shall go forth, and grow up as calves of the stall."

Confession: I fear God and so, the sun of righteousness has risen on my behalf. He has risen to burn to ashes the branches of irregularities in my health. I go forth and grow as calves; my kidneys, liver, heart and other ailing parts grow and regenerate faster than I can imagine in Jesus' name.

12. Isaiah 40:29-31

"He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength. Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall:But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary, and they shall walk, and not faint."

Confession: What hope! What glory! God gives me power every day, I am continually strengthened, and I am not faint or weary. My mind is not faint and so, I do not suffer from depression, my muscles and bones are strong, so, I do not suffer from arthritis, my heart, kidneys, liver, blood and every other organ are perfect and strong, so, I do not need to undergo any operation. Christ has made me strong all my life. Glory to God!

These words are life, they are assets and they are everything a man should live by. As we read the scriptures and confess them, these scriptures respond to us and become our realities. At this point, experiencing tiredness, fragility and every form of ailment becomes something we cannot relate to because now, in Christ, we have been made complete.
