Minister Mairo Ese is a Nigerian Gospel minister, based in Lagos, Nigeria. He is aa Gospel Artiste, pianist, popularly known for his gospel Hit singles which include The only God, Nani gi and You are the reason among others. He is a passionate worshipper, song writer and worship leader who is called with a mandate to draw men to God through worship.
Oghenemairo Okechukwu Ese otherwise known as Mairo Ese was born in the early eighties in Lagos State, Nigeria. Mairo accepted Christ in his teenage years and discovered his passion for music and later his calling as a worshipper. He is known for an eclectic blend of R&B and Soul, transforming songs into a true worship experience. His interpretation and expression of music is dynamic and fresh, it has set him apart.
Mairo has served in various capacities in different churches. Starting as a chorister and then progressing to worship leader and music director in different parishes of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), House on the Rock (Jos) and also in different expressions of The House of Freedom. He is currently the Music Director of This Present House under the tutelage of Pastor Tony Rapu.
Over the past years, Mairo has shared the stage with music greats like Ron Kenoly, Lionel Peterson, Cobhams, Lara George, Nathaniel Bassey, Sammy Uyoyo Okposo, Tosin Martins, PITA, Glowreeyah Braimah and a host of others.
He is associated with a number of worship movements including ˜Euphoria Worship Team and True worshippers and has ministered in Uganda, Tanzania, Ghana, The UAE, Lebanon, United Kingdom etc.
After a ten year season, Minister Mairo Ese released his first album in 2015. The album is titled “The Worship of Yahweh, a collection of songs that has blessed countless people with amazing testimonies.

Biography of Ayo Thompson Ese
Ayo Mairo Ese (nee Thompson) is a multiple award-winning Broadcaster, Event Compere and Public Speaker.
She is the co-host of the widely acclaimed breakfast show on Smooth 98.1FM 'Smooth Breakfast".
Ayo began her career in media on TV with Cool TV in 2014 and over the years has had the privilege of interviewing CNN's Richard Quest and Hollywood Actor, Eric Roberts.
In addition to her work in media, she has a keen interest in development work and is the Executive Director (voluntary) at Basic Education Africa.
In recognition of her work, she has won a number of awards, most notably The Future Awards Africa Prize for Radio Personality of the Year.
Ayo is a graduate of International Relations from Swansea University, UK.
She is happily married to musician Mairo Ese.
