Iron rusts from disuse, and water loses its purity from stagnation. In the same way, our inactions sap the vigor of the mind. If you know what you’re supposed to do and you don’t do it, the result is usually not palatable and this is what today’s article would focus on.
People often say a man bears the consequence of his actions without emphasizing our inactions, that is, bearing the consequence of what you didn’t do.
This is quite weird because while we obviously have to be careful of the choices we make by seeking good counsel and being guided in our decision making, we would still bear the consequences if we thoroughly weighed out the options, yet refuse to take some actions
It is recorded that we most likely regret the actions we did not take than the wrong ones we took.
While the regret of the former lasts long, the latter tends to be forgotten.
It’s funny to say our inactions can limit us but it’s true anyway.
What are you not doing that you are meant to be doing?
Check your inactions, they might be the things to liberate you. Pick it up and strategically look into it. Meet people who are in the field then pray about it.
You’re likely to notice that it was fear all this while hindering you from doing it.
You are probably thinking … Will it work? What if I’m not enough? What if people don’t buy? What if it doesn’t work? What if I’m too small?
Remember that you could rather think what if I make it? What if I liberate the world through this”? What If I save lives? What if I come out great?
Your actions are as important as your inactions.
Take responsibility of your life.
