Biography of Pastor Oladelemi Philip Olubakin

Born on 15th December, Pastor Oladelemi Philip Olubakin is an author, preacher, pianist, song writer, artist and a sound teacher of God's word who was trained as a lawyer and passionate about seeing believers walking in the reality of the supernatural through faith and to see every soul come to the knowledge of Christ.

 

Pastor Philip was born to the family of Chief Oladele Philip Ayinla, who was the Omotoro of Owu and lived from 1942 till his death on 20th December, 1999. At the time of his birth, Pastor Philip’s mother was the third wife while he was the seventh child (of the family) and fifth son out of fourteen children altogether.

Upon his conversion, Pastor Philip started up his Christian faith in a Baptist background. Growing up, he attended the Igamode Grammar School Ota, Ogun State, Nigeris. He thereafter proceeded to study Law at the Obafemi Awolowo University. 

 

Pastor Philip Olubakin is the Senior Pastor of the Supernatural Life Church (SLC) which was founded in March 2019 by the leading of the Lord. At the time, he was serving as a Choir member until he got God’s leading to start the Supernatural Life Church. Today, the Supernatural Life Church, currently headquartered in Abuja, Nigeria, is a global ministry with a mandate to help believers live life beyond the ordinary. When he started the SLC, he started with 7 members which included himself, his wife, three youth corp members who were just coming into Abuja to serve, Doyin, his sister in law and Femi, his old friend from school days who was looking for church to attend.

Having vowed not to take a single person from his former church, these 5 people joined Pastor Philip’s wife and himself and accordingly at the time, he politely turned away the people who wanted to join him from there.

 

Pastor Philip is also the Convener of the Wind of the Spirit as well as 28 Days with the Holy Spirit. These meetings are deep spiritual meetings where the power and word of God is aptly communicated to believers

Pastor Philip Olubakin is happily married to his heartthrob, Pastor Mrs. Funmi Olubakin, a lover of Jesus, preacher, author and co-pastor at the Supernatural Life Church (SLC). She is also the leader @blissservicess - linktr.ee/funmiolubakin. They got married on 1st September, 2012 and together, they are blessed with three children - all beautiful girls.
