Biography of Prophet Gabriel Adediti Oyelami (Baba Oyelami)

Popularly known as Baba Alasepe, Prophet Gabriel Adediti Oyelami, fondly called Baba Alasepe, was born in 1910 and until his demise in 2016, he was a leading light of Christ Apostolic Church (CAC). Today, the history of the evolution of Christ Apostolic Church in Nigeria would be incomplete without alluding to the prominent roles played by Baba Alasepe. 

Prophet Gabriel Oyelami, a protégé of Prophet Joseph Ayo Babalola, was founder of one of the foremost prayer mountains in Nigeria, Ori Oke Alasepe

CHRIST APOSTOLIC CHURCH (ALASEPE) is an indigenous African Pentecostal Church under the spiritual leadership of Prophet G.A. Oyelami. The prayer ministry started on Ikoyi Mountain in Osun State Nigeria West Africa after which it moved to its present and permanent site at Ori Oke Alasepe Ile Anu Oluwatedo in Ikire Osun State Nigeria West Africa in 1996 and ever since the ministry has been growing. We are a people given entirely to the ministry of the Word of God and Prayers, with a mandate of spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ with signs and wonders following us.

Testimonies abound regarding what God is doing in the lives of people who do come to the mountain to pray.

On the mountain, prayer is offered 24 hours with general programmes for men only and both men and women; these programmes come up monthly on the last and first Friday respectively.

Through the ministry of Prophet G. A. Oyelami, several Churches have been planted in the country and beyond.
