One popular phrase from many gospel preachers today is "the Proverbs 31 Woman" so they only teach the ladies and women to be the proverb 31 woman, many parents and even the society are training woman like that of proverbs 31 but only few or non at all are training proverbs 31 men. In our world today many women battle with low self esteem because they believe there is a standard laid down that they must fit in, many are worked up because they want to play the role of a virtuous woman in proverbs 31 but unfortunately they can't really fit in if they don't have the proverbs 31 man in their life.
Virginity seems to be a thing only women keep, many women feel incomplete without their virginity while we ignore the aspect of men virginity, men are allowed to mess around but a taboo and foolishness for a woman but the book of proverbs 31 vs 3 said give not thy strength unto woman. Oh do you think that strength is a physical strength of course not the strength is more spiritual than physical. As a man once you have sex with a lady you've given out your strength to her, if she understand the way this kingdom works she can use it against you that why lemuel mother has to warn him about giving his strength to a lady because she knows as a man he might not feel the need to keep his virginity because there is no prove for it.

In verse 5 she said it not for kings to drink wine nor for princes to strong drink lest they drink and forget the law and pervert the judgement of the afflicted. This verse make you understand that as a man you are the king over your home and as a king, a strong drink are tools the devil uses to destroy the home by making you get drunk and act in a pervert way against your children and wife.
Verse 6-7 talk about giving strong drink to those who have a heavy heart, so as to forget their poverty and remember their misery no more. Because as a proverbs 31 man things will always works for you especially when you have the proverbs 31 woman in your life who will tarry for you on her knees, who you can pray together with and bring God reality in existence. I'm not saying things won't be tiring of course not, but your identity in Christ won't let you have a heavy heart because you know he bears all burden and understand that wine nor strong drink is the solutions to it.
Dear men if the society is not building you to be proverbs 31 man then let the holy spirit helps you build yourself into it.
