I trust God with all my heart
Depending on him
Because,
I know nothing is impossible.

I cry to him
Day and night
Seeking his face
At all times
But he seems not to hear.

With every passing day
My faith wavers
My hope goes down
But his word
Stands as an encouragement.

Asking me daily
Why am I serving him
Is it for what he has to offer?
Is it to get my desires?
Is it for fame?

The world asks me
What is my gain for serving this God
Wondering why I keep honoring him
Even when things are not going well
But I won’t stop serving
For I am not ashamed of the gospel
In the good and bad times
I won’t compromise my stand with him.

Friend ask me
To hide my identity as a Christian
To follow the world
So I can get my desire
But I can’t
Because I’m not ashamed of the gospel.

I carry Jesus in my DNA
I have Jesus in me
Why should I be ashamed?
Why should I hide my faith?
He gives me this power
Therefore I will shout it to the world.


I can’t be ashamed of the gospel
Even when things are bad
I can’t be ashamed of the gospel
Even when things are rosy
I can’t be ashamed of the gospel
It is my obligation
It is a commandment
And I continue in it
Till the master comes.
