We are all created fearfully and wonderfully created by God - Psalm 139:14-15.
Always wanted approval,From people who didn't care
About anything that has me in it.
Dress and act to impress,
Wanted applauds and praises,
Called to high and mighty seats,
Just to be recognized and seen,
But still I felt empty.
Then God reminded me,
In his scriptures,
That I don't need validation,
The praises, seats or recognition.
I am his image,
A reflection of good works,
Made and seperated.
A vessel unto honour.
Before I was formed,
He knew me.
I am fearfully and wonderfully made,
Without defects and blemish,
Perfectly and wonderfully created,
To glorify his name.
