Christian Poetry: The Prodigal Sons

Christian Poetry: The Prodigal Sons

He left, the rebellious one
With his share of father's estate
To squander in a foreign land.

Home, I stayed
As the good son
Obedient to father's instructions.

He returned to repent
From a life outside home
And father accepted him as son.

I, on the other hand
Slaved off in Father's house
Trying hard to impress him.
