Christian Poetry: The Lamb Sees

                 ~Revelation 2 vs 1-17

I know your works!

Your virtues,

Your unweary labours,

But your first love you forsook.

I know your works!

Poverty in riches,

Stones of tribulations thrown at you,

But more would come.

I know your works!

Your faithfulness,

Even under satan's shadows,

But traces of falsehood I found.

Unto the church,

Words of the owner,

Though meek and loving,

Yet a just judge.
