Biography of Oladosu Twins

Popularly known as Oladosu Twins, Oladosu Esther Taiwo and Oladosu Rachael Kehinde are a Nigerian twin born on the 4th of October, (year unknown) in Kainji New Bussa, Niger State where they had their early childhood and primary/secondary education. The Oladosu twins were born to the Oladosu family - a family of nine; six siblings, a father, and a mother.

The Oladosu Twins are two vocal powerhouses Nigeria is blessed to have, being professional music singers, and fashion designers. The duo is known for their joint musical career spanning over seven years. Based in the North Central part of Nigeria, they are renowned artists in Kwara State where they live while equally enjoying nationwide recognition.

Although they are great singers individually, Oladosu Twins have spent most of their careers singing together on records and live performances. They have graced several music stages and are lauded by renowned Nigerian artists such as Bidemi Olaoba.

Esther and Rachael Oladosu are popularly called Taiwo/Kenny individually and Oladosu Twins as a duo. The monikers (Taiwo/Kenny) are a shortened form of the tribal names given to twins in the Yoruba culture, in Southwestern Nigeria.

Although the twins were born in Niger State, they originally hail from Osun State.

Education

While growing up in Niger State, Taiwo and Kenny attended CAC Nursery and Primary School, Kainji New Bussa. They proceeded to AMMK III Science College where they had their secondary education.

Their journey to Kwara State however began when they decided to study at Kwara State University (KWASU), Malete where they proceeded to their tertiary education. At KWASU, Taiwo studied Mass Communication while Kenny studied Public Health Science.

The Oladosu Twins started music at the age of five when they joined the choir in their local assembly, CAC No. 1, New Bussa, Niger State. Their early venture into music created a strong foundation for the career that they keep building to date. They however started out as music ministers in 2015 and since then, they have shared stages with renowned gospel artists in Nigeria like Bola Are, Tope Alabi, Bisi Alawiaye, Senwele Jesu, Big Bolaji, Tosin Bee, Tolucci, Titilayo Euba, and Bidemi Olaoba to mention only a few.

The Oladosu Twins are the convener of “Altar of Praise”, an occasional event that features other musical artists across Nigeria and brings worshippers together for one common goal (praises to God).
