And the shofar blew,

For the hour has come,

to give an account.

Loud in the hearts of watchers,

To rise from slumber,

for the enemy is near.

And the shofar blew,

For the trumpeters announce,

the master's return.

Loud in the ears of harvesters,

To return to field,

for the harvest is ripe.
