When God appointed Jeremiah to be a prophet, he began to make excuses by bringing God’s attention to his shortcomings. For one, Prophet Jeremiah forgot that God already knew everything about him because He (God) was the one who created him.
God provided Jeremiah with all the encouragement he needed by reminding him of His constant presence. God encouraged him not to worry about getting persecuted and oppressed that he will always be there to deliver him (Jeremiah 1:17-19). This is why even when Jeremiah faced immense persecution at the hands of his countrymen, God was present to deliver him.
God is always there for his children. You may not “feel” His presence, yet He is there for you. “I am with you always, even until the end of the world”, Jesus stated (Matt. 28:20).
Human love can evolve or diminish. We may feel defeated because everyone has abandoned you. However, Jesus will be with you in all circumstances. In moments of anguish and sadness, he will wipe away your tears and soothe and comfort you. You have nothing to worry about. He will always be there for you, no matter what. He will never abandon you.
Isaiah 41:10
“Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of thy righteousness”. (KJV)
