Williams Praise (State Bible Study Secretary) *MESSAGE* Waiting on God is an implication that whatsoever one has comes from God and it's a posture of total dependence on God. When a man begins to wait on God, it shows that such a person has realized he is nothing without God. You must have an understanding that what you have can not take you as a far as you should go hence the need to always fall back on God- (James 4:6). At any point in time, man will always need to run to God for help. Case study of Paul, he always ran to God despite all that he possessed. (Philippians 3:10) If a man must wait on God, he must first acknowledge that he is weak. In our generation, we love it when things happen quickly without realizing that you need to wait on God's strength to carry out any assignment given to you. When you try to do this given assignment on your own, without depending on God, you will not go far in it. God does not at once give humans all it takes to do the assignment but He does it in bits so that you will always come back to Him. When a phase goes out, it is an implication that you need another level of strength to go into the next phase. Until you get to the realization that without God, you can do nothing, you won't go far in life. Strength can come in different forms: consecration, instruction, boldness in faith, etc. You must understand that God is not bound by time. One of the greatest forms of strength you can have is God's assurance. In summary, in waiting on God, a man must first understand that you can only get it right with God's strength. *Prayer Point* - Lord Jesus, give us the strength we need to carry out our assignments. God bless you!
