Christian Poetry: Inside Out

More than a score years ago, my heart, every second, beats in lub-dub rhythm like the tick of a wall clock.

‎More than a score years ago, my eyes, every millisecond, tables a screen and feast on feeds like a starved lion.

‎More than a score years ago, my ears, her canals, every microsecond, a passage for communications not His.

‎A score years and more, a Spirit, living and holy, pouring on my heart, every femtosecond, to beat in consecration.

‎A score years and more, His word, the letters tabled, every picosecond, and my eyes to feast on the Spirit.

‎A score years and more, sounds from 'salem, every nanosecond, a flow through the canal of my ears.
