Christian Poetry: Tún wa ṣe - Fix us

An ark, made of wood,

‎coated with pure gold

‎inside and outside;

‎its walls and its floor.

‎An ark, His ark,

‎for Him to dwell in.

‎A rich but short ark,

‎coated with pure gold

‎inside but bronzed

‎outside by the sun of 9-5.

‎An ark, His ark, to be

‎fixed for Him to dwell in.

‎A feminine ark,

‎pure gold defiled,

‎pure gold accused by law,

‎condemned before all.

‎An ark, His ark, but for

‎Him to fix.

‎An ark with legion of them,

‎pure gold with them belowground;

‎pure gold, skin scarred. The

‎Fixer, the ark met, healed

‎and restored. The ark, His

‎loud voice in the Decapolis.

‎A short female ark,

‎pure gold with spot of brass

‎within; pure gold with specks

‎of dust without. That the Fixer

‎will come to fix and to stay

‎and to stay on!
