Evangelist Damilola Mike-Bamiloye officially announced the return of one of the most iconic Nigerian Christian movie series, Agbara Nla (The Power of God). The social media announcement on his verified handle has generated a lot of buzz among fans and enthusiasts of Christian movies.
The original Agbara Nla series, written by Evangelist Mike Bamiloye in the 1990s, remains one of the most spiritually strong and culturally charged productions in Nigerian gospel drama history. It gained popularity with its theme of divine power and spiritual warfare.
Today, decades later, the series is to be sequel in Agbara Nla: The Return. The new production is co-created by Joshua Mike-Bamiloye and Damilola Mike-Bamiloye. The revival production is being produced in association with Mount Zion Film Productions, Sozo Films, and Circuits, a Christian streaming platform.
In announcing the partnership, Damilola Mike-Bambiloye addressed the people directly: "Everybody in the 90s heard of a great series by my dad, @mikebamiloye. Well, there is going to be a return! Are you set for the comeback of Agbara Nla – The Return is coming!". This collaboration represents a new era for faith-based storytelling in Nigeria, blending the religious heritage of Mount Zion with modern-day production and distribution trends. Audiences and Christian film audiences are already anticipating a rich spiritual and visually beautiful sequel of the ageless story.
