Christian Poetry: You Have a Will Because He Has

I perceived something wrong some weeks ago, 
And I felt really bad that it happened. 
But not too bad because it wasn't close to me. 

I felt proud, sincerely speaking, 

That I'd made a sacrifice to avert such from happening around me. 

But right there and then, He rebuked me. 
No one can make Him do anything. 
No one can initiate anything. 

If you get what you plead,

It's because He thought of that same thing as well. 

He is a King - His words are Yea and Amen. 
He is a King - He does because He wants to, 
Not necessarily because He can. 
Mere mortals can only provoke the decisions of any King,
By sacrifices, worship, and reverence. 

The methods of engagement are as important as the heart of the man in engagement. 
Beware, they are not to be overemphasized. 
The burden started with Him, 
And it will end with Him. 
THE ALPHA AND OMEGA IS HIS NAME.
