Christian Poetry: Mangoes in November

Nature says
“Not yet but soon”
‎”Today is not to bud, but bloom
‎and tomorrow is for juice.”

‎Mango says, "Master is hungry,
‎and Master is coming...”
‎towards me."

‎"Mango, soon..." Nature whispered.
‎"Bright colourful petals today and

‎ripe juicy flesh tomorrow."

‎"Remember Fig -

‎leaves but no lunch." Mango cried.

‎"I do, Mango. I do."

‎"Time says November;

‎mangoes are never in November

‎but in March."

‎"But, Master is hungry,

‎in November and He

‎is coming ... towards me."

‎"Mango, do as you please.

‎But, today is to bloom

‎and tomorrow is for juice."

‎"Nature, I know. Never have I

‎had to defy Time but Master

‎is hungry and I want to feed Him."

‎"Master made Time.
Master made
‎me. Master made you. He will
‎understand. Won't He?"

‎"I know. But, I don't want
‎Him to understand. I just
‎want to..."

‎"Mango, He will understand.
It's still November and the Master will find juice, in multiple, soon."

‎"No, Nature. A handful of ripe juicy flesh
‎for their young ones in March. Why
‎not a tray for Him in November?

‎A cup of smoothie for their
‎aged in March. Why not a jug
‎for Him in November?

‎I have wasted at their harvests, my remains, meal for flies. Why not

‎be spent for Him, in November?"

‎A soft smile on Heaven's
‎lips, upon Mango in November
‎whose love ripened, not in season.
