Biography of Pastor Daniel Oluseyi

Daniel Oluseyi is a Nigerian Christian minister, worship leader, songwriter, counselor, healing evangelist, author, and the Founder and Lead Servant of Stripes Church International (The Stripes), a Christ-centered worship community based in Abuja, Nigeria.

Born on 24th May, Daniel hails from Ibadan, Oyo State, Nigeria. He studied Philosophy at the University of Lagos, where his passion for truth, purpose, and the Christian faith continued to deepen. His life and ministry are centered on leading people into authentic encounters with God, helping them discover their identity in Christ, and equipping them to live purposefully.

Daniel is happily married. He married his wife on August 27, 2022, and later that same year, on December 18, 2022, officially began his public ministry journey. Since then, he has devoted himself to preaching the Gospel, leading worship, discipling believers, and raising a generation passionately committed to Jesus Christ.

Daniel’s ministry journey officially began under the name OneBaptism Ministries. However, the vision behind OneBaptism had started years earlier as a digital ministry. Founded in 2016, OneBaptism served as an online platform through which Daniel consistently shared biblical teachings, Christian reflections, devotionals, Scripture, and faith-based encouragement across social media. As the online ministry continued to grow, it naturally became the name under which his ministry was first launched physically on December 18, 2022.

In January 2025, Daniel entered another significant phase of ministry when he co-founded Lifepacts Church alongside his close friend and ministry partner, Diteous Gregory. Together, they labored to establish a Christ-centered church committed to authentic worship, discipleship, and spiritual growth. This season became an important part of Daniel’s leadership development and ministry experience.

In August 2025, Daniel received a fresh conviction concerning the ministry assignment God had entrusted to him. After years of serving under different ministry expressions, each reflecting aspects of the vision God had placed in his heart, he became persuaded that God had clearly revealed the name Stripes Church as the identity of the work he was called to steward. What had once been individual expressions of vision came into focus as a ministry centered on the finished work of Jesus Christ and the transforming power of His sacrifice.

Today, Daniel serves as the Founder and Lead Servant of Stripes Church International, affectionately known as The Stripes. While his longtime ministry partner continues to lead Lifepacts Church, Daniel is fully committed to the vision of Stripes Church, a worship-centered community dedicated to helping people encounter Jesus Christ, pursue God authentically, and experience the Super Life in Christ.

One of the distinguishing features of The Stripes is its unwavering emphasis on worship. More than a part of the service, worship is embraced as the heartbeat of the ministry and a lifestyle for every believer. This vision is expressed through Stripes Worship, the worship ministry of the church, which exists to lead people into deeper encounters with God through songs of adoration, prayer, and complete surrender to Christ.

Alongside his worship ministry, Daniel is also known by the name TWIGVA, an acronym for True Warrior In God’s Victorious Army. Under this identity, he expresses the Gospel through Christian rap and Afro Gospel music, creatively communicating biblical truth to a younger generation while remaining uncompromising in his message. While Daniel Oluseyi is the name under which he ministers, preaches, and releases worship songs, TWIGVA represents his urban Gospel music expression, reflecting the same mission of proclaiming Christ through a contemporary sound.

Daniel is also the publisher of ONE Devotional, a weekly digital devotional created to encourage believers with biblical truth, practical wisdom, and consistent spiritual growth. The name ONE is an acronym for Outrightly New Every Morning, inspired by the promise of Lamentations 3:22–23, which declares that God’s mercies are new every morning. Through this publication, Daniel seeks to inspire readers to cultivate a deeper relationship with God while applying His Word to everyday life.

Beyond the pulpit and music ministry, Daniel is passionate about mentoring believers, counseling individuals, and teaching practical biblical principles that produce lasting transformation.
