Christ Embassy, led by Pastor Chris Oyakhilome, has unveiled a new range of electric vehicles under the Tsion brand, marking a notable expansion of the ministry’s activities into technology and the automotive industry.
Oyakhilome unveiled the vehicles during The New Economy Unveiling 2026 with Pastor Chris, an event organised around innovation, economic development and the role of the Church in the marketplace.
Videos from the event showed several Tsion vehicle models, including the Tsion Passion, Tsion Falcon, Vision Series, Vision Coupe and OG Series.
During the presentation, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome disclosed that some features of the vehicles were still being refined, including the steering wheel design. He also explained that “OG” stands for “Of God.”
Pastor Bolaji Idowu reacts to Tsion cars
The unveiling has attracted attention within Nigeria’s Christian community, with Pastor Bolaji Idowu, founder of Harvesters International Christian Centre, describing the development as evidence of the Church’s growing influence beyond the pulpit.
Pastor Bolaji Idowu said the development challenged his perception of what Christian organisations could accomplish in the marketplace.
“My mind has been stretched. This is what it means to be the salt of the earth and the light of the world.”
He added that the Church should not merely wait for solutions from others but should also demonstrate its capacity to create solutions and participate meaningfully in the marketplace.
According to Pastor Idowu, the development showed that the Church could combine the preaching of the Gospel with practical innovation and economic impact.
Christ Embassy and the marketplace
The unveiling of the Tsion vehicles introduces automobile development to Christ Embassy’s broader focus on innovation and economic empowerment.
The development also reflects a growing conversation within Christian circles about the role of believers and churches in sectors beyond traditional ministry, particularly technology, business, education and innovation.
For Christ Embassy, the introduction of the Tsion brand represents an attempt to translate its vision for influence into the technology and automotive space.
While the vehicles are still undergoing development and refinement, their unveiling has already generated significant interest online and placed the Tsion brand at the centre of conversations about the intersection of faith, technology, innovation and the marketplace.
The latest development adds a new dimension to Oyakhilome’s longstanding emphasis on empowering Christians to make an impact beyond the walls of the church and contribute solutions to contemporary societal challenges.
