Thy Kingdom Come!

Thy Kingdom come

In Matthew 6:9-13 and Luke 11:2-4, we read about the Lord's Prayer.

One thing about the kingdom of God is the fact that God is desperate to establish His kingdom on earth. He will use all means and man must find his role in God's programme. If you think about where God lives, you can only continue to imagine how great it is. The Bible says that in heaven there will be no more crying, God will live with us, and there will be no hunger or hurt there. This part of the prayer says let God’s kingdom come and let God’s will be done on earth, just as it is in heaven. This means we are praying that people would live in peace and love one another, the way it is in heaven. It reminds us that we should be living the way God wants us to everyday.
